hay kev just had update from mate who builds the galeforce that bombarier used in the liftout in QFM aparrantly SHIMANO Australia are looking at ordering 2 identical boats & motors as the 1 featured ( cast away 2) in the mag. for the bream/bass comps from Sydney. dropping their ally boats dew to fatigue, hulls are cracking . so im told!!

That would be a good marketing move Jamie for all parties concerned.
I can bet there is some back scratching going on there.

I have bben looking at updating the old Jhono. I have been to all the latest boat shows and dealers looking at the 50 hp E-tec. I have been very impressed with the overall package except for one thing, it doesnt come standard in tillier steer. The 40 wich is the same motor (mapping is differnt) has tillier steer as standard. For the dealer to supply me with a tillier steer on the 50 they are going to charge an extra $1200.
Unless Bombadier make changes to this situation in the near future I will be sporting a 4 banger on the back of the Cobia.

I'm glad I dont live up your way, I just got two quotes down here in Sydney, the first was $800 which I thought was way too expensive. the second I got from the dealer where I have purchased my previous motors and they said they would do it for $480. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
