PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant VBA_SCRIPT - assumed 'VBA_SCRIPT' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ..../includes/functions_navigation.php(802) : eval()'d code on line 1 Question for Yamaha 4 stroke owners
Am currently installing an F115. When I turn on the key, no warning lights come on on the tacho (which is an analogue guage). Is this right? On my old Y115 2 stroke, you'd get warning lights for a few seconds, then a green light.
Thanks in advance,
Yockman
Yockman, It may pay to drop a call to the mob you got the motor from, see what they say.
I can't help with what it is supposed to do, but this may be a direction to go in.
Hi Yockman, sorry cannot help but it does make sense that they should light up as a visual check. Try www.iboats.com and search the Yamaha forum or throw a post up, I am sure you will get an answer there. nq
ive got a f100.when i turn the ignition on all the warning lights which are only little black squares ??? flash on and off a few times including the zero reading on the taco.there is I BELIEVE a big loud alarm that will sound before the motor explodes .
cheers scott
Will ring'em, will check iboats.
nofrills, is that a digital or analogue gauge on yours?
any of you guys watching the movie about us navy divers? great stuff.
Er, well, ahem. Problem solved. Wire in wrong place, despite me looking at every wire 50,000 times. Al those piggyback wires in the back of those yammie gauges !@#$. Looks real good now, 2 red warning lights for a few seconds, turn that key and pow!
Cheers,
Yockman
got the digital tacho on my yammie and when i turn the key everything lights up.. so yeh.. should've been the same for yours.. good to see yours is working now
