Anyone Heard of Jeaba Boats

I have a mate who is looking at buying a secondhand 15foot fibreglass boat called a 'sealine' and made by Jeaba. He is trying to find out a little about them. I have never heard of the brand and can't find anything on the net.

Has anyone ever heard of these boats or know where I could find out a little about them.

The name sounds Swiss or dutch to me maybe a one hit wonder import jobby. Check with a boat broker.

a quick google of Jaeba revealed that Trailerboat Fisherman did a test on a Jaeba Silver Star in August '87 issue.

Found out from the compliance plate that it was build by Jeaba Mouldings and they were located on the Gold Coast. #I can't find them in the phone book so they must not be in business anymore. #Given they are a local boat and no ones seems to have heard of them, they could not have been around for long or they were only doing the odd custom job.

Might have to see if we can get hold of a back issue of that Aug 87 TBF. #Thanks Aaron.

so I think they may have been doing custom work rather than turning out production boats

jeaba boats were made in brisbane or on the gold coast. I don't have the boat that your mate is looking for, but I do have a similar model.

My boat is a SILVER LINE by Jeaba 5mtr 1/2 cabin fibreglass with a Yamaha v4115 hp engine.
