    Making a bow roller from aluminium

    The attached is made from one sheet, then folded. Its 3mm thick accept for the support that is welded onto the boat . That is 6mm and is 50 mm high.
    Works a treat

    Absolutely brilliant to use. When recovering the anchor , the unit is already tilted to the angle of the anchor rope.
    The anchor comes right through the channel,and I fix it in place with the chain and a split bollard, close to the cuddy cab hatch.
    To release, remove the chain,the bow roller tilts,and off slides the anchor, effortlessly.
