mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Aussie dollar?
Landedin Aussie?
Customs duties?
Motor included ?
Brian, what ever happened with that boat you built. The photo's disappeared.
Sorry, forgot to mention. The price I wrote above is an "out of factory" price in Aussie dollar. It doesn't include the motors or any other add ons but we can organize all of that. Its basically just the "shell" with standard accessories. If anyones interested I can find out how much itll cost landed in Australia.Originally Posted by DazB

Brian- i hate to be negative, but what are these boats like in a big swell side on, there beam is so narrow, the 48 with outboards especially. Aussie boats that size have big beams and big disiels down low?...foxy
Hi Foxy, our boats behave quite well in rough seas, and with swells coming from the side. You don't get that "Shoot! Its gonna tip!" feeling with our boats.
We sea trialled the Marathon 53 Pak Andi (LOA 15.4m Beam 3.9m) a few days after the tsunamis while the swell was a choppy 1.5-2metres and she performed flawlessly. We achieved 35 knots without a problem slicing through the waves.
Most of our customers prefer to use outboards because it is much cheaper than inboards, easier to maintain, and petrol is dirt cheap.
We've made two boats with inboards, the Marathon 53 Pak Hasan (Twin Volvo Pentas cruising at 25 knots) and the Marathon 48 Puskesmas (Twin Mercruiser sterndrives 23 knots).
The Marathon 55 Pak Surya Paloh, which is still under construction, will have twin MTU Series 60 825HP inboards powering it. It should be ready by april/may. I can't wait for that one!
Yeah right, I'll take a dozen! Can you do terms? I'll give you a dollar a week for the rest of my life the rest of the money can come out of the free advertising you can paint all over it
Any fishing is good fishing (should probably say Any fishing is...probably going to be illegal soon)
