Some mates and I spend some time on a boat called Guiding Star. After taking her up to the Whitsundays then spending a couple of months on board we renamed her Sliding Far

    Re: Boat names

I usually do something with the owners name.

    ie
    MaJiK (Michael John Kornbrekke)
    KaMaKazi (Kirsten Marie Kornbrekke)
    JeRK (John Rolf Kornbrekke)

My Laser (a sailing dinghy) is called...
    SSOSFAGTIACAGWAP (sos-fag-tee-a-cag-wap)

Its a Pink Floyd song (Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict. It gets a LOT of funny looks and questions about it.

The Odd Spot from last Wednesday's Melb Age Newspaper...
Hong Kong's expatriate community has been amused by a ship in Victoria Harbour: emblazoned across its stern is the name Titan Uranus.

I like to say 'Magic Pudding' is a good boat name, but its more so random than anything else. I like the name of our new boat FINATIC

    Re: Boat names

You still got Magic pudding? It's a fine rig.
Oh, if you couldn't guess. Mines Fishinmishin. I'll hold onto the name for when it becomes a charter business .
