    Re: VHF license

I am about to do my VHF Radio course at Gladstone, Central QLD. I'll be doing my HF course at the same time as I am a volunteer radio operator for VMR, Gladstone. (just started)
I would suggest you contact your local VMR place and find out from them. The cost is $100, run over two nights.
While you are there ask them about other courses such as NAV courses and such. They are a wealth of imformation who are only too ready to help you with any advice or queiries.

    12th and 19th July, 7pm.
    VMR Victoria Point
Cost is $48.20. Office Maritime Communications put their price up from $38-50 to $48-20 as of the 1st July for their test papers, the marking of them, and the issue of your Lifetime Certificate. (Licence). We make absolutely no profit hence why it is so cheap compared to others.
See attached pdf doc for details.
    Only 4 spots left.
    Contact me to book in.

Booked you in x 2 PinHead.

Fishing_Freddy, can you let me know as soon as possible wether you will be attending or not?
I normally run out of room fairly quickly as our training room at the base is fairly small.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Dave

    Ken, you are booked in.
    Jimbo, you are booked in.

Unless I have a cancellation or two it appears I am now booked out.

I will be running another one, tentatively on the 9th and 16th of August. (17th will be Brisbane show day). Both Tuesday nights starting at 7pm, same details as the July one.

    Cheers Lloyd
