    Boat Trailer

I need to replace the springs and axel on my boat trailer (supports a 4.1 allycraft) and was thinking about buying galvanised. Are they better and does anyone have any idea of waht I might have to pay? Appreciate any advice.

I picked up 4 the other day, single leaf 300kg for $30ea, but when I worked out my wieght I had to exchange for multi leaf.
    Stub axles about $12 ea.
    duragal for axle $16pm
so if you can do it yourself, not much over $100
    cheers

Have a look at the cost difference and go from there. Being a 4.1 tinny, I wouldn't think that they would go into any salt water, unless beach launching.
My old man has normal springs on his 5m, and his 4m Quinnie, and both of them are exclusively launched from the beech. The 5m is about 4 years old now, and the little one is 1 year old, neither are showing any signs of corrosions or damage. Both washed down thoroughly when finished.
