    Ando,

The Razorline caught my eye at the Gold Coast Boat show a couple of weeks back, I was impressed to say the least. Having given up the tinny a while back (now a glass man) it sure did have the goods for a decent offshore boat. In particular was the kill tank/fish box and the rear fishing station/ bait table setup.

what sort of fishing are you proposing to do??

Planning to fish offshore (based in Brisbane), and with friends in Gladstone a regular run out of there. Would also like to run over to Wathumba and spend time over there.
My work is 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off, so the boat will be getting a fair bit of use.

    Ando,

I've been looking round in the market for a plate boat myself and I have pretty much decided to go with Razerline. I took the trip down to Sydney for the Boat show down there to complete my research and make sure I was making the right decision. I know now that the Razerline is the best finished plate boat n the country, it really makes mince meat out of Noble and TABS. Also they build boats up to about 150ft so they really have the expertise to put a boat together. A mate of mine told me that they did really well in the boat of the year last year, only got beaten by a couple of glass boats that are priced over $150K, more than double the price of this boat.

My only problem with them is the delivery time - about 12 weeks, but i'm starting to think that my impatience would cost me a huge amount of quality if i went with something else inferior just cos i could get it quick.

Have fun in the rough stuff when you get it!!!

I have been trying to get some info on specs for the Razorline boats. Does anyone have any links to them?

    Cheers

No rigs anymore, Chief Mate on an oil tanker working out of Brisbane. Spent so much time traveling across the bay on a 180 metre tanker, that it's time to get out there and ctahc something instead of watching everyone else head out!

    Re: Razerline Boats?

They certainly look very nice for a plate boat although there doesnt seem to be much boat actually working the water with the long snout and and rear overhang.
Depends on how they measure them to decide what you are actually getting ie hull in the water, it might be .5m+ less boat where it matters ???. I quickly looked at the red boat in one of the links and didn't go further. cheers nq

What are you doing mate, trolling the forums for all the Razerline threads, dredging them up and trying to tell us that they are the best thing since slice bread?

As I posted in another thread you've posted in.......... U either have something to gain from them or are ilinformed. If you've recently bought one Gr8. I trully hope you have a long uneventful relationship with it. I'm not so sure that I'd be buying another. As others have mentioned in this thread "t'is an ordinary ride & poor after sales customer support, in my view
