Anybody own a Garmin Depth Sounder 250c

looking at purchasing a garmin 250 colour sounder.anybody own one or has anybody seen one in operation? 320 vertical pixels, 16 colour display. i'm keen on one i think,just looking for any feedback. thanks,

I am happy with it, picking up baits schools great at 100m, first color one I have owned but from the greyscale I had (Piranah 5) it is 100% better. Showed bottom at 360m and showed a depth reading for about another 100m.

blaze, do you mean your colour unit is better, or are you actually saying that the grey scale unit was better. (piranah 5)?? i think u r saying that the colour is 100 % better, that right? and how much did you pay for the garmin 250 c?

If your interested in buying this model then ebay has some good priced ones will make a couple of hundred dollar savings
