I'm in the process of fitting a Fibreglass Bait Board to my Hooker and an looking for ideas on how to mount it to the boat above the motor. So if any one has a good setup on their boat feel free to post some pictures.
Thanks

Above the motor - Immediately I visualised a bait board mounted on top of the outboard cowling
I wonder if that would work??
A smallish bait board shouldn't interfere with tilting the motor all the way up.
You wouldn't want to do it on a newish motor though - also, it would probably look a bit odd.
Hmmm.
mates hooker has the poles bolted through transom, they sit externally i'm sure thats how they do from factory.
Here's mine, sorry bout the dodgy photo. PM me if you want more details.
Cheers,
Lee
I don't know if it helps but this is how mine is set up!!
Here's a couple of pics of the board i made and mounted using the existing ski pole. I didn't want to modify the boat to keep the resale value.
Here is the old thread which is still up but only for a sort time, it has a lot of pics.

Hi impulse, mate where did you get that plastic chopping board stuff from.
I been looking for ages for that stuff.
Hi impulse
top looking job there m8t. I like the tackle box slots and bait hole.
what did you glue it together with???
Cheers Murf
I bought it in Bankstown (Sydney Metro) form Palstix http://www.plastix.com.au/index.html
The sheet is called High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
I screwed most of it together and only used Sikaflex where i needed it sealed ie bait hatch and the back of the board.
Hey Rob. Here is how I done mine. Let me know if you want more photos or come around and have a look.
