Does any one have any experience in the old 17'Oceaneers. I might pick one up as a bit of a project to rebuild. The original Roy Bliss Ply Beachies were legendary hulls and these were built along their design. Is it worth looking into?
If its a well designed hull go for it if the price is right. Do a budget and then double it, that will be somewhere near the final cost. Do the budget before you buy as it may not be for you

I thought the hull was OK. I have rebuilt a few boats over the years including a 56' motor sailer so have some idea of how the estimates blow out. It is currently running some vintage Cryslers so they will be the first thing to go. Floors and transom have been recently replaced and the trailer looks OK
