new skeeter sx190 bass boat

I'm the proud owner of my second skeeter bass boat, a sx190 18'6" with a 150 hp mercury optimax. Finished running it in on the weekend, like the sx 180 these are a sensational boat. Slightly bigger than my previous skeeter, same colour scheme. It has larger rod lockers, bigger tackle storage, built in esky and two seperate live wells. I'm running a tempest 24" pitch prop and turning it at 5550 rpms with awesome hole shot and great bow lift, with two on board she hit 61 mph and one up 62.5 mph and it was still winding out but I run out of water, what impressed with this boat was at those speeds there was no chine walking and felt very safe, speeds were recorded on gps. The beauty of this rig is I can now cruise around the 50 mph mark at 4500 rpms saving on fuel. Truely a great package and I'm excited. # #

Sounds great Wayne. I enjoyed the run in your last boat at the BP Bass comp last year. They definately make a great boat. Will say hi at the next QLD round for the ABT Bass comp this year. Just remember to fish out of it, not drive around all day enjoying the speed.

The boat sounds awesome. I hope to see some pics soon. Are you able to post some pics of the rod locker as I am about to work out where to make mine on my boat. I was going to post a post asking for pics of enveryone rod lockers so i can get a goos idea what is good and bad about them.

I have been setting my boat up to fish the bass electrics and am nearly there.Any help would be appreciated.
