Thread: blue finn VS clarke

    blue finn VS clarke

    my farter is looking at buying a new boat he is looking at the 4.2 blue finn viking and a 4.2 clarke apolone. Just wondering if anyone has advice on these boats, weather one is better or more stable then the other.

    Hi Weedeater,
    I have a Blue Fin 4.75 Weekender. It's hard to fault it. It goes extremely well offshore and is very well made. It has a curved windscreen that looks great and deflects the water off very smoothly. It planes easily and can handle the rough and tumble on the ramps with no ill affect. The only fault that mine has is that the battery compartment could have been made about 50mm deeper to accomodate the battery box with a little more clearance and access, The bottom plate is 3mm and the sides and top are 2mm.
    I have no info on the Clark models

    Hi i have a Clark Abalone and she will go anywhere!
    Always faithfull, and a very sturdy 5mt boat.
