    1994 Yamaha 70 Hp

    What do you recon a 70 hp Yamaha, 1994 model, with 400 hours, would be worth to buy, with stainless prop.

    is it in good condition? run well? look good from the outside? etc etc if it does maybe 1000-1500 on private market.

    Yes to all those questions, he wants $ 4000 for it , and I thought that was way over the top.

    $4000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last time I checked a new 70hp 2s Yammie was in the mid $7000 range.

    Ring a few Yammie dealers & see what they think it is worth , but agree with Bender , around the $1500 mark if in good nic.
