45km/hr with 15hp
Just shows you how much the alw of diminishing returns works.
My 4.55 quinny with 50hp merc just makes 50klm/hr on a good day.
I'm slightly under propped, but I reckon I'd be pushing to get 55 klm/hr even with a bigger prop.

Hi pescatores

Looks like the reality is hitting all fisherman smaller motors less fuel and more money in the pocket but so much more fun and challange.. Don't see many large boats cruising about ---fuel costs must be hitting the executives also... I share in your pride with my 6 HP that pushes my cat @ 24Km/h fully loaded aprox 320 kg..Beer not included...
