    Yes they sit on outside stringers but also sit on the ribs i put in every 60cm before the floor was cemented in with some special stuff i got of a friend who does fibreglass pools so each chamber is sealed. the cavertation plate is a little below bottom of boat pic is a bit dark it has a flat arse.

    Engine height looks fine to me. I think people are forgeting this boat has little to no deadrise at the tranny. This little deaedrise will also help get and keep the boat on the plane, not too sure if 70hp will be enough, but i'd give it a go and see what happens.
    Looking at the hull tells me she isn't exactly designed with high planing speeds in mind (your gonna slap that underbelly pretty hard in any chop). A set of trim tabs I believe are going to be a must, so you can keep that bow down and let the entry deadrise do the work.
