My New Pride and Joy - Trailcraft Profish

I have finally picked up my boat and here are a few pictures. I have only visited the water to start running in the engine and haven't wet a line yet but won't be long.

Thanks to all the AusFish members who helped answer my boating and electronics questions for the last few months. This site was invaluable source of information and helped me in making my final decision.

    Specs as follows,

    Trailcraft ProFish 465
    Mercury 60HP EFI 4st
    Minn Kota 55AP electric
    Bimini Cover
    Live Fish Well
    Live Bait Tank
    Deck Wash
    Raymarine DS500X sounder
    Garmin 172C GPS
    Custom made side rails
    Trailcraft I-Beam trailer

    cheers
    Ray

Hope you get enjoyment and fun out of your new rig. With the big arm chair and that good nav eqip you should catch heaps.
I hope you get more use out of yours than i am getting out of mine at the moment. Work and house renows take over.

She looks fantastic - I can't wait for mine to come through (5.4 Profish).

One question - I notice you have your outboard throltle control mounted on the side deck rather than the side of the console...do you find this better? What was your rationale with mounting here...

I too am looking at mounting mine on the side deck, but others propose it preferable on the console... Your thoughts?

    Matt
