I have a 2003 Mariner 75hp on my 5.1mt Ally Craft Centre Console.

I cant fault it. Starts when it's supposed to and doesnt stop till i turn it off. And very very good economically on fuel.

I have had it 7 months and I am wrapped in the motor and the boat.

27meg radio, GPS, dual batteires with isolator, 110 in floor feul tank, biminy topm, rod rack on front of console, rear bait board, full safety gear flares jackets etc, plumbed live bait tank in transon with pump, underfloor dilge pump, paid $19K Dec last year.

There are plenty of bargains around, spend your saturdays looking at boat yards, there are plenty around with salesmen willing to deal. And whatever you decide, buy the ebst your budget will allow.

    Cheers

    Dusky,
have'nt met anyone who is not happy with their Bowrider regardless of the brand.........
I've got the Quinnie F/sport myself with a yammie 8o 4/s on the rear
so the 75 2/s should be good,.. ......glad to hear you're looking at that size as I think you'd bee disappointed with only a 60hp.
Chose the Quinnie myself after looking at the Stacer mainly because I just liked the look of the Quinnie better overall (fitout & style wise).
Both are built by Telwater, Stacer has the 'Evohull' and Quintrex has the 'Millenium' hull........my preference was the 'Millenium'
As was suggested, shop around, look at the Quinnies as well........your deal sounds OK considering the cost of clears,S/covers, baitboard etc...
    Just my thoughts, good luck
    Cheers, Rogues

Yeh, without doing the sales push again... We've got a Quiney F/S with the 75hp Mercury and can't fault either. Reasonable on fuel and very reliable so far (nearly 100hrs).

I know this is supposed to be on the Stacer but, as everyone else is chipping in......

Quintrex 480 f/s now takes 90hp, (got one on mine, fast n frugal. ) The 90 capacity was what swung me on it, cant have enough grunt.

Look around take time dont buy on impulse, you may have this boat a long time.
