Best allround grease

Chasing some views on the best multi purpose grease. I want a grease that is definatelty wtaerproof, won't go hard, or cause electrolosis problems in my outboard (put the wrong grease in an old blue band merc once and froze it solid within a couple of weeks). I want the same grease to be suitable for the trailer and the 4wd also.

Any thoughts/suggestions.

without a doubt OMC Triple guard (blue) will last for yonks in salt water on steering and stuff

i use the blue castrol boating grease on dirtbike, boat, 4wd, trailers, everything. seems to be the one that repels water the best. can't remember if it's suitable for hubs with disc brakes though. castrol web site will give you full material data sheets on all their products though.
