    how long before flowcoat ?

    gday , 3 hours since laying glass how long should i leave it before applying flocoat,non waxed resin.

    If it was waxed resin within 24 hrs to avoid sanding. As it wasnt and if you used approx 1 % mekp it should go off pretty quickly.

    So flocoate probably as soon as you can

    I hope you don't catalyse your polyester resin at 1% as you will never achieve proper cure due to low exotherm, even more important at this time of year with cooler conditions. Polyester resin is ussually catalyzed at between 1.5 and 3% depending on temp/humidity and working time required. Rather than backing of your catalyst you are better of going an LA catalyst if working time is your main concern. You can flowcoat as soon as the laminate has gone off however if it has been more than 24 hours you will have to sand the surface to get a good mechanical bond.
