Bev could not have said it better ,you have both done an outstanding job on her ,she's a credit to you both.I think this thread is only surpassed by "joke of the day" but there are some repetitions on that so you never know
Now you'll both want to take some hols to share it midweek so the Ausfish crowds dont pester you
Now that you've done the boat, how's the trailer???????
cheers jon
PS remind me not to be your burley boy!!!!!!!
cheers jon
Wow! she looks awsome!!!.
Practically a brand new boat. I'll have to agree with familyman and say it's a credit to you both not to only take on the project but to do such an awsome job. I'm sure she'll see many fish landed on her in the future
Congratulations and "Let the Good Times Begin"
cheers jono
DAY 160
After 18 days of pulling her apart, and 142 of rebuilding her, Ross decided it was time to give Play-Pen a water test.
So we slowly made our way to Rudy Maas.... with Ross panicking about every stone that flicked up at her
Sorry guys, try as I might, there was no talking Ross into a public fanfare with champas & a flotilla
So here is the private launching.... well as private as you can get when Rudy's is flatout!
And then... as the two hawkeyes noticed .... we headed to the pin, stopped at Crusoe Island for a celebration xxxx and coke while we sat and admired her sitting in the water for awhile.
Then took her home to clean her!
We're impressed, she didn't leak, she ran like a dream and rode even better than before
For anyone interested in having a closer look, or just wanting to say gidday, we will be camped (rain, hail or shine!) with Kingtin & his crew on Crusoe Island this coming weekend.
might have to drop down and say g'day Bev
you were going too quick for me to have a good look last sat arvo
see ya then
Jason
... i only work to support my fishing addiction.....
This has been wonderful to watch comming apart and going back together.
I applaud you both for the efforts that you have put in.
Hope to see you on the water, somewhere, some time.
Enjoy

It's a fitting end to a saga caused by such a small pest.
Others may have just scrapped the idea of a resurrection but you have given it your all. Congratulations Bev and Ross

Looks great. I have been following the thread from day one. Well done to you both.
Are the seats a recent purchase, if so where did you get them from?
Thanks blaze and everyone else who has read, encouraged and cheered us alongOriginally Posted by blaze
And thanks to the suppliers who were so patient when I was asking for thingamajigs and whatchamacallits.
Also, a huge thanks to Ausfish for hosting the story for all to enjoy.... I'll be visiting the merchandise section as soon as the finances recuperate a little
Look forward to seeing you then Jason.Originally Posted by longtail
