We will be spending another weekend working on her.
An update, but no photos.... sorry guys.
Day 141 - Received seats back from the vinyl welder who'd repaired a few knicks and cuts. Visitors arrived, no work done on Play-Pen
Day 142 - Made up another shopping list for more nuts, bolts and screws, new fuel line, a fuel bulb thingy, etc., etc.
Went to hook up the steering.... steering cable ker-nackered.... added new steering cable to shopping list.
Day 143 - Resined boards for side pockets
Day 144 - Went shopping. No work done on Play-Pen
Day 145 - Flowcoated boards for side pockets
We hope everyone has a happy and safe long weekend.... we'll be in the shed working on Play-Pen
Keen to see the updates from the weekend Bev![]()

Another late addition to the cheer squad, I'm amazed at what you folks have achieved it is an absolute credit to the both of you and your friends. If there is any justice in this world you'll bag out on the first trip back into the water. Thanks for spending the time to share the story with us.
P.S. Nice Shed, imagine the size of the beer fridge you could fit in that bugger, ay?

Day 146 - Ross and I spent the day measuring, cutting & glueing
First section of carpet in and some glue tacking off....
... and this is how things were looking at the end of the day.
Day 147 - More measuring, cutting & glueing.... then Kingtin & crew rocked in with enough food for an army. Time for a lunch break.... ham & lentil soup and a platter of posh cheeses. Thanks Kev
Too full to move but there was work to be done! Kingtin cut some aluminium brackets while Ross and I put in the side pockets we'd prepared earlier.
Angle put in place to hold floor hatches, fuel tank and water bladder set in place.
Hatches in...
... and this is how things looked before I escaped from the shed due to the wind factor that was smelling... oops, I mean settling in!
Kingtin's deckie went for a drive to pick up the kids. They were bored, so they'd gone for a walk to a shop about 6 km's away. Brought back one who looked like he'd gone a few rounds in a boxing ring, but he assured us he'd tripped over on the bitumen road![]()
Patched him up.... might have been easier to wrap up his whole headWARNING: Don't let a nurse into your medical supplies.... they ignore the bleeding kid and start throwing out all the opened or out-of-date items
Dinner menu for the food addicts - Steak, Garlic potatoes, Stir-fried vegies... and prawns. Thanks for making sure I keep up my seafood intake Kev
