Play-Pen has been turned over so the hull can be re-gelcoated.... it seemed like a good time to glass under things like the side pockets. If we hadn't turned her over, Ross would have pre-glassed before installing.

Here in Oz, black ants are pretty harmless. I would assume they are in your boat to hide from the weather, or they have found a food source.

Finding water under your springy floor is not sounding good, and you definitely need to see what's going on down there.

I hope your not going to be the next re-build on here but if you are, post lots of pics for the re-build addicts

    Day 53 - 58

The rest of the anchor hatch has been made, installed and is waiting to be glassed -

The other days have been spent bogging

    and sanding

    bogging

    and sanding

It is now ready to be gelcoated. We were hoping it would be done this weekend, but we're having trouble sourcing the brand of additive we want to put in the gelcoat.... suppliers are out of stock and no indication at this stage when they will have more in

oh yes... Is Ross smiling yet...all the pics so far have been so serious. If he's smiling yet please post one up of him next to his boat. Without a chain saw.

I have this vision of Ross sitting perplexed after he had first cut the inspection hatches

If Gromit gets in the gate in one piece, then I'm sure he'll get away with just about anything

Bev the wife actually wanted the bigger boat . But the $$$ are just not going to allow it ATM so we decided to get the smaller/newer motor to help with the fuel bill. Bigger boat will come, just not quite yet is all.

    Day 59 - 63

No progress on the Play-Pen at all.... our Easter dead line is looking impossible now

Still waiting for the brand patch booster we want. Talked to the supplier again today.... maybe they'll have some tomorrow!

Saturday - went to see Kingtin and crew
Dinner Menu - Steak, chips, veg & gravy.
Shopping - 1 switch panel, 1 50lt water bladder, plus 1 variable speed buff.
