    Transfer to The new Trailer

Although this weekend is already a whole week since the transfer to my new boat trailer, I decided to post a few pics of the "work in progress" which I hadn't realized were still sitting on my daughter's digital camera. Lucky 14YO girl got a new camera for her birthday recently, and with 128meg of SD Ram, she is honing her photography skills quite well.

1st shot is dropping the boat off the old trailer, on to tyres.

Sitting a little to one side, but ready for a new trailer to slide in under her. Great White and I having a conference on what to do next.

Try doing this part at the ramp. Some major adjustments to roller heights and placement.

Re: Transfer to The new Trailer

What the photos don't show is the little dramas that unfolded as the women spectating had their fingers poised over the phone, to dial 000 in case one of us got trapped underneath. I guess that's what it looked like, but there was very little chance of that. Pete suggested I sign a disclaimer before commencement of the tranfer, but I said that would not be required. What he did also suggest was payment for the use of his spacious property, but Poodroo and I brought 2 KG of prawns and fresh sandies for the table, which seemed to chill any notions of payment, except promises of more fishing trips. AND SOON BROTHER!! REAL SOON!!

Thanks Poodroo, Herm and GW for making this job a complete success!!

The photos sure turned out great. The Mustang looks almost as if she is proud to be sitting pretty on that nice new trailer. Glad the job is done and it was extremely nice of Great_White and Herm to let us use their property to do it and put on such a nice feed. Was a top afternoon. You're welcome.

You mean in respect of how long we took to do the job?

I know that the late afternoon tea was well worth the wait that's for sure!!

Gris066 - Yes indeed, she's a great trailer, I don't mind that you can see the brand in the photo - the quality is 2nd to none
