    boat rules,,,,

any ausfishers have there own little rules on your own boat
eg: mine is.....the first 2 largest c/trout belong to the boat and the rest of the fish is devided by the number of PPL on board
    is that too weird????
like to here if any one else has anything

    G'day
I may have to work in my own little, biggest quality fish bellongs to the boat for myself...

For me, it's NO BANANAS, What I says goes, and you must have respect for the boat, who is on the boat, the gear, the other people using the waterways and the general environment.

    Re: boat rules,,,,

On a recent fishing trip, the 6 of us made a rule that that whoever caught the least fish MUST try out for Australian Idol.
Anyway, my good mate who I own half of our boat with, and also fish with every week came away on the 3 day trip and did NOT catch 1 fish. He copped enough flak about that but now has the unenviable task of th Oz Idol tryouts next year!!!

By the way, why no bananas????

Rule number one. The skipper is always right
Rule number two. If the skipper is wrong revert to rule number one.

Ps I also run a dry ship.

When we get back nobody touches the hose but me i.e. no-one hoses the boat and trailer off as good as I do it.
At least that was I can't blame anybody down the track if the thing corrodes

    Re: boat rules,,,,

i only have a 10 foot tinny with a 10hp on the back so my main rule is NO PIKE EEL's come into the boat , cut the line once you see one on your line . They are savage beasts and could cause major problems in such a small space , could be a good way to get funniest home vid footage . I remmember reading a fish book years ago , the author said he was in the brissy river when he saw 2 blokes in a tinny catch a pike eel ....to cut long story short the fishermen ended up in the water while the pike stayed in the boat
