    safety flares

    Hi All

On my flares, it has 2007-2006 (a bit confusing), so I am wondering if they are legal
until the start of 2007, or the end of 2007?

Can anyone enlighten me? (no pun intended)

    cheers, Reggy

    Reggy,

I'm fairly sure that my flares have an expirey month and year eg june 2008 which removes doubt. I'll confirm when I get home.

    Reggy,

Just got home and confirmed that my flares have an expiry stated with month and year. This makes your dates very confusing. In the absence of any other date markings on your flares, perhaps a call to the manufacturer may help identify the correct expiry date. With the fine for not having in date flaresat $150, I would be purchasing some new flare if in any doubt. My flares came from Whitworths.

    Good luck
