Webster 5.2
In the process of purchasing a Twinfisher 5.2 runabout. Still unsure of best motor option.
Going with max HP 115, looking at new Tohatsu due to weight as opposed to the 4 strokes.
Currently own a 50 E tec on 4.3 Webster but had some starting issues and have heard of other
E tecs with elect/computer probs.
Any usage info on the Tohatsu or boat/motor combinations for the weby would be most helpful
cheers

Hi Alicat
I have had my 4.9 webster twinfisher runabout for 6 months now with a 60hp four stroke Yamaha goes great starts first time every time runs good and is really quiet.
bought mine from Inverloch Marine Vic they are great they realy know what they are talking about if you have any questions send them an email.
I would go the 115hp Yamaha four stroke.

Hey flyboy, how do you find the 4.9?

Re: Webster 5.2
Hi nigelr
the 4.9 is great no i havn't crossed any bars.
the size is great. Fish with 3 people is great and even 4 is ok.
very stable boat very good in the rough been in 1m swell in port philip bay
the only complant with the boat design is when anchored the waves come under the boat from the front and slap underneath I suppose like a flat bottomed boat.
I bought mine from inverloch marine as i live in victoria on their website they have made some movies of the boats it is the 4.9 in the movies if you live in vic take a test ride their shop is right on a bar and i am shore they will take you out they go all the time.

Re: Webster 5.2
Alicat
the reason i went the 60hp is the weight.
this is the biggest hp weight size in the four strokes that i can use
it is real quick to get on the plane and for speed
with 4 on board wot is 6000rmp I get 47km/h
four stroke is great though great for troling
