Awesome Idea...I was thinking of a flag with a channel number on it that could fit to the arial....different colour for the 27Mg or VHF etc.
DO IT!!!
Wondering wether anybody would be interested in, that is if there is a big enough demand and the powers that be could organize it, for some ausfish flags to fit to your boat?
Cheers MM
I am a fisherman,it's not something I merely do,it is who I am! Fishing is not simply my escape,it is where I am supposed to be,it is not a place that I go, But a life long journey I am taking, it is a passage that was shown to me and that I will continue to show to others. When you understand all of this, you will then know me and we will fish together.

I mentioned it to Steve before X-mas and he said he was going to look into it.
Awsome idea put me down for 1.
YES.... I mentioned it before about making up some sort of flag to fly when camping so other 'Ausfishes' know there are drinks on at my campsite.
And an excellent idea about radio channel backgrounded printed or similar as most respectable boaties would have a set of 'binocs' to make out number and call up....
Great Idea!!
great idea madmakeral
should start a design post
pin head's is a great start
Pirates that would be funny
Would love one, since the last meet and greet the little Australian flag on my UHF ariel has not come down, a wicked ausfish flag would be cooool!

For some reason fellas the powers to be dont want to act on this , dont know why , weve been asking for years .
i must have one. my australian flag clashes with my ausfish hat and shirts. besides, it will help avoid those embarassing moments at the servo or ramp where the flag flyer is simply patriotic and wondering wtf you are rabbitting on about
fishing's as simple as 3 P's - patience, perserverance and PLASTIC!
