rock jacks
This one came out from under a rock up in the fresh to snatch a tilsan bass lure..The Tilly bass and barras have to be one of the best jack lures on the market. (especially the gold fingerling)
I find if your chasing jacks just cast them in , pause for a couple of seconds and then wind then straight back, with not a lot of variation in the retrieve , unlike the barra retreive which is a slower jerky type retreive. In other words don't give the jack a second chance to think about taking the lure..
Pepper each snag a couple of times and move on .
I actually find jacks prefer rocks than mangroves, maybe they should be called rock jacks
