Geez, the only time I ever complain about the old Tarpon is when they're not biting! By the way, where are you fishing and do you ever get any bigger ones?
Im Fishing in the Finnis River, Darwin NT. The tarpon are there in HUGE numbers. Stretches of water over 500m long can boil with these buggers for hours non stop, we fish in them looking for the big barra that sit underneath them.
We have cuaght some around the 40 to 50cm mark, The largest I have ever cuaght was out in the ocean, would have been abaout 70cm long.
