A typical cressbrook bass. A bit of persistance and you'll catch a few bigger ones from that impoundment and in good numbers once you know where to fish. Then again it also comes down to luck. If their not biting you can always hunt down a few gar for bait using doe under a float.

Well done mate
My first bass was also from that impoundment. Except mine was a 39cm specimen.
Keep persevering with that dam, try in the deep water with soft plastics or try trolling with a downrigger, that will produce more legal-sized fish than undersized ones.
