This is my first ever bass. I caught it at Yarramundi on a soft plastic lure cast off the shore. It weighed 2.5 kilograms and was then released back into the wild. (sorry about the photo quality)
Cheers.

TOUGH FISH After being hung in a garage enviroment BY A GAFF I am sure it survived
What a great fish it is. Wish my first bass was that good, well done.
Now if you want to release your fish & give them the best chance of recovering fast, try to get them back into the water as quick as possible. They can only survive a short while out of the water, a bit like us human under the water. And try to support thier bellies with your hand. The poor fellas get really stressed if you hang them up like that.
Good on you Ricko. With a start like that you're going to have a big future.
Fitzy..
