    2.5kg bass

    This is my first ever bass. I caught it at Yarramundi on a soft plastic lure cast off the shore. It weighed 2.5 kilograms and was then released back into the wild. (sorry about the photo quality)

    TOUGH FISH After being hung in a garage enviroment BY A GAFF I am sure it survived

    What a great fish it is. Wish my first bass was that good, well done.
    Now if you want to release your fish & give them the best chance of recovering fast, try to get them back into the water as quick as possible. They can only survive a short while out of the water, a bit like us human under the water. #And try to support thier bellies with your hand. The poor fellas get really stressed if you hang them up like that. #
