ANZAC Bass
just thought i would post some pics of the bass i caught on anzac sunday in the upper macleay river
had a late start and didn't hit the water untill 7:30 am and had the first fish in the boat after only a couple of cast at 8am (the time in the pics are still on daylight saveings time)

after about 8 or so other simaliar sized bass i got a couple of bream!

was useing mainly soft plastics on squggie finessie jig head and Nitro jig head
plastics i was useing was squggie fish and squggie wiggle tails as well as berkley gulps and drop shots

this bass absulty inhaled this plastic but i was luck to get him as when i got him on board he opend his mouth and the jig just fell out

this was the biggest bass of the day and was only a 1/2cm short of 40cm to the fork
i saw him rise in some floating weeds and just cast the plastic to the boil thinking i missed him but the plastic didn't even hit the water before it was gone leaveing my holding on with all my might trying to get the girl out of the snags!
was defintly the best fish and best fight of the day!

just to show you all that they do work
had a great days fishing with alot of fish caught and released all in good health

Hey Basserman, where did you get those at? I have never seen Bream further upstream than Belgrave but you said you were in the upper macleay?
