    Townsville Barra Farm

Took my father-in-law today for some fun. He landed 8. Before today he hadn't seen a Barra let alone caught one. It was a great day and Brent the owner is a top bloke.

Check that smile out. Do you think he is a happy lad?

Fishing and smiling go hand in hand. Fishing with family. Closest thing to Heaven on Earth as we'll likely get.

How was the fishing robbo? Lots around for the 8 caught, different sizes in different ponds? Big question is, any metre plus baby's lurking there?
    Cheers, Mark.

Hi Mark, its like shooting fish in a barrel but still good fun. They have one huge pond full of snags where all fish are over 58cm guaranteed. Not as many in there but I picked up to around 65cm on Berklry soft plastic

Robbo, what sort of price is it to go there. I might head down that way and see if I can catch one. I hear that those barra things are great fun to catch

You can never take the family anywhere as they seem to be the licky ones when you take them fishing. Well Done
