I bought my young neigbour Tyron a $16 spinning rig as a present for feeding our dogs while away on holiday - and he'd been keen to blood it - so last weekend we walked the creek and this was the 1st bass he landed (his first ever) after he dropped two beauties over 40 cm long - one due to attempted skull dragging of a green fish the other played out beautifully to unhook itself before our eyes on a bankside twig a metre or so out from the bank edge - I think he is hooked!!

Nice fish mate! I still remember my first bass, was about 7 years ago and half that size! That background looks beutiful!!!
