Well theres a show us topic for every other fish so i thought id start one for a fish that i like to catch. So heres my first toga caught a borumba on a purple rmg poltergeist.
Hi all missed this post until now! The first toga was from Yabba Creek near the camp grounds within Imbil on a 3' pumpkinseed stickbait with no weight, the hook set near his eye but i was fishing for ages after i let him go and didn't see him come back to the surface so hopefully he is ok. the second one was caught on Borumba dam using a shrimp that was 10foot under a float!! can't remember how long he was but they are my only toga to date.. will be going back for some more soon though ..

This photo is an old one but he is a bit bigger now, hes 60cm in the photo here though.
not a catch but still a toga, never caught a toga and i dont think id have the heart after owning one as a pet.

They are a very pretty and endearing fish I'd have to agree and it does seem a shame to put them through the stress of capture.....................but they're so much fun to catch
