Murray Cod

Heres is my first Murray Cod caught at Tenterfield on a Black and white spinner bait. He was about 45cm long.

Thanks Canoedle, it didnt really put up a fight i was just casting near a snag about 10 metres in front of me and i got a few hits then cast it again and was winding in and about 3 metres in front of me it started running so it wasn't a real big fight.

Good stuff.... it's good to a see , hope this one is one of many.
You must be doing something right..spinner baits if used incorectly will scare more fish than catch...the bug has bitten.

Nice Cod there mate! I have only caught 2 in my life and I hope to catch & release many more! In the last photo I didn't catch that Cod... I have images but can't post em' up.. Dunno why!
