The underlying spirit of angling,Is that the skill of the angler,Is pitted against the instinct and strength of the fish,And that the latter is entitled to an even chance for his life. Regards, Hardb8.Kickin tails and razin scales since 1979.

Re: Show us your cod
Thanks Rosco & Brett.
You know - thats the first cod I have ever caught on that damn purple Oargee!!!
But man, he was worth it.
I know you lot are pre-occupied with purple lures - I have better luck with orange out here......
Dont have any scales but he went 85cm - & in pretty good nick. Any suggestions to weight would be welcome?

Re: Show us your cod
droped out to coolmunda a few weeks back. One guy at the ramp realy hauled ass. He had a 40lb, as well as a 15lb and 10lb in his esky. The 40lb cod still had a tail of a small yella in his gob.
We went out and also got a 8lb, a 10lb, as well as 3 yellas, all in about 3 hrs. Went back again the next week and didnt get a bite in two days.

Re: Show us your cod
here we have two guys that have never tasted fish in their life before have we?
Im sure some time in your life you have kept fish at some time.
Dont critisize others who like a feed of fish.
Its like a greenie with a house full of antique furniture. Its alright for them to collect antique furniture from 200 year old trees, but dont let the new generation cut any trees down.
