Mate when there is no rain and the water gets stagnate the cod tend to get sores around their gills and sometimes the odd worm hanging off.

hi wamjam yeh sorry about the neck strain ive got a habit of taking shots like that, big fella hey, hi bear yeh we get the occasional fish with lernia (anchor worm) but usually there healthly fish. cheers bdowdy..brett
Hi all,
A long awaited dream of mine was recently realised,And my first ever Murray Cod was landed.I took a trip to the upper Severn River,And the fishing was outstanding.
Caught em on topwaters,Spinnerb8's and Chatterb8's.Had an absolute ball,And can't wait to return.No monsters,But my expectations were more than met.
I was VERY happy,And privileged to be finally be in the company of this true Australian legend.
