Where are all you fishermen at Bjelke Petersson Dam. I have been a few times recently and want to know who else has encountered the COD.

it doesn't look too good to put the boat in without a 4WD.

    Re: B.P.Dam

BP Dam is fishing fine at the moment.
Fished there on Sunday for plenty of big yellas and jew - mostly on bait.
    A few bass on Jackalls.
All in all about 30 fish for the arvo.
    Biggest yella 54cm.
    Biggest bass 43cm.
    Biggest jew 58cm.
Launching from the main ramp no problem with a two wheel drive vehicle.
I tow a 435 Top Ender with a Commodore Wagon. Fishing by myself I drive the boat onto the trailer and had no problems at all pulling it out.
Make sure you use the main ramp though (the one closest the wall) if you have a two wheel drive car.
Take care when travelling on the dam, there's plenty of shallow water.
The fish are easy to find with the water level so low, it's presenting something they want that can become difficult.
Unfortuneately at the moment, that means resorting to bait.
Oh well, pray for rain I guess.
    Cheers
