Had a ball this morning, my uncle and i went out at 6.30 am and found a school of bass and through jackall's at them and ice jigs. We got a few each with the biggest one being 50cm at the fork. good times.

Yeah mate fished it yesterday for the same result. Mask vibs and ice jigs did the damage for us, geez they go hard. Our best went 49 but majority of fish over 45 which is a good size in anyone's language.
cheers scott
Nice looking bass mate.
Yeah nice size bass there mate, did you fish the Queen st end or The Spit.
I've been meaning to get up there again for a while but was put off with the low water etc... hows the ramp & launching?
Cheers
Toppy
nice bass, ive only ever fished small creeks for bass, cant imagine how good it must be to fish through a school of them.
Don't think you'd wanna take your new toy up there Toppy, lot of paddling to do.![]()

dont tell them to much mate they are still there NOT elephrez1 and i went to the same spot today the 17th and did not see a fish on the sounder
i think somerset is like that you have to be there on the right day let alone the right hour to minute to get a fish , the last time i fished here no fish for 3 days
