hit the tweed again on saturday and explored more territory. We used mostly ecogear sx48's twitching them slowly on the top before working them deeper into the snag. The buoyency in these lures even in fresh water make them excellent for tempting a surface strike out of fish while still being good for working at depth. Anyway scored 19 bass up to 45cm with the average size being around 40. Could have easily been 50 except alot of the bass seemed to strike short of the lure, many fish where hooked on the outside of there mouth. anyway for all those photo lovers i've got a few scenic shots from a film i just got devoloped all the fishy bits are on my friends video camera.
