    That is not a Yellowbelly. A carp for sure, look at the tail and the gill structure.

    We should all know our fish if we are to put back the good ones and
    burn the ferals.

    As for carp coming to the surface to feed or breathe they make good targets for a .22.

    My first Barra, I caught it in Tasmania while I was on holidays (seemed just as ridiculous thought I'd join in this is fun)

    Did any of you stop to think that maybe it was just a mistaken identity of the fish,just because we are members of this site does not necesarily mean that we all know our exact fish species could have beenj forgiven for makin such a mistake dont you think?
