Eungella
Took a quick run up to Eungella this morning by myself. Only spent around 4 hours on the water. It was more of a look to see how the water temps are and if the fish were on the chew.
For some reason the buggas were hitting the lures but not hookin up.Had some orsm runs before dropping the lures. Got a little frustrated so i droped in a softplastic and let it sink to the bottom then slow rolled it back.First drop, one sotty. Next two drops resultes in lures commin back minus there tails. Flamin spangled perch at it again. The sootys would not touch any lures over around 5cm in length. And Green seemd to get the most attention. Could be because that was the most used colour for the morning. when i ran out of softies due to the fact i only had a few green ones left i switched to a Green/yellow rattlin spot typ lure and after a zillion casts managed to get the best fish for the morning. A nice 48cm sooty. I spoke to another boaty up there and he was having no joy. Water temp was 19 to 20.6.
