Stoncold, just curious, is that squidgee fitted onto a spinner bait. Have just started fishing for bass and was thinking if that was common practice

    G'day Jewie,

Yes thats a 120mm squidgee bloodworm on a 1/4 oz jighead fitted with a gold colorado jigspinner. All up about $2 bucks worth of lure.
As with with most bass fishos my tackle box is overflowing with bassy "things" in all colours and shapes. This cocktail is at present outfishing my other go to lures for bass by a loooonnng way. Best part is, if the boys snag it up I don't feel the need to strip off and dive in.
I fish it much the same as a spinnerbait, in the last couple of outings I have only picked up the other rod with the conventional H.B to make sure the lure still tracks straight.

    Cheers Mark
