    It looks very similar to the one I fish on this end of the coast.I will post a report tonight, I got my first bass on fly there on wed morning. THe fish were very tough,we got 5 but had to extract them from deep in the snags.

    G'day Pete,just the odd shower where I am but I did notice one of the arms in town had a bit more colour in it this morning.We got another lot in last week(Surface Breakers),if you can't get one where you are give me a yell with what colour your after and I'll throw one behind the counter for you.

    Theres some great skinny water throught there banshee. I always enjoyed walking the banks back through to the Channon. There also some great water back over towards dorroughby that I fished as a kid.

    Your not wrong Stonecold,those pics are about five k's south of the Channon.

    Yes Im pretty sure I know where it is. Ive got a rele that owns a property between there and the Channon. Its 15 years since i walked the banks in that neck of the woods

    HI,
    looks like down stream from The Channon, am I right? i grew up on that stretch and it has bought back some memories , the bass sure do hammer a bait in that area, well done

    Thanks for the reply, i had not seen that there was2 pages on the thread so had not read that u had identified it as lower than the channon, that second picture with the big tree trunk in it nearly has to be at the eastern boundary of our old place, bet there is a little sandy beach about ten metres downstream and on the pinchins lane side of the creek, the othe photo looks much like our old "diving board tree" just above a beautiful set of rapids that run down onto a big corner on the keerong side of ther valley
    probably all in my imagination but it has bought back many many memories for me out here in the west of the state
    that creek is full of bass, cattfish, platypus (or was) and i had a couple of nasty bullrout adventures too as we all spent from the august school holidays through to may school holidays in the creek and under the black bean trees
