Lenthalls Dam....Day of memories

hey all

I had a trip up to lenthalls dam for a quick fish as we were visiting friends in maryborough. Saturday we arrived at maryborough and we went to lenthalls and had a quick fish so we could get back in time for the rugby (Go the kanga's) i caught my first barra 58 cm . I was stoked as this was my first barra ever.

Day 2 sunday we arrived at lenthalls at 7:00am. It was very cloudy and it looked like it was going to rain. Anyway i made sure that we went fishing. Fished for barra and picked up my second barra 60cm new pb. Awesome i was even more stoked and my dad was spewing he couldnt believe i caught another 1 because i told my dad ' Hey dad i'm gonna catch another 1 2morrow' and he said 'not before me.'

Had heaps of fun. First time i've fished strickly for barra and not bass. Simply awesome. O i forgot to say all barra caught were released safe and sound.

great stuff gavin don't get into the habit of hanging onto your lures like that or ya might wear a few trebles in the fingers when the fish gives a shake

I think he might have perpesly done that to ruin my photo lol. I have felt when u get trebles stuck in the fingers and also when the barbs arnt flatened. It hurts. They barra with my holding it seemed very
docile when i got him to the boat.
