    Moogerah 10/11/06

This is my first report so here goes.

Fished Moogerah from 10.30am to 4.00pm. Caught a total of 9 Bass ranging from 34cm to 43 cm. All were caught between 10.30am and 2.30pm when the rain seemed to shut them down.

    Trolled lures were used with
    a 34 cm fish caught on a Boomerang 65 in Green/orange,
2 fish in the 37-39 cm range caught on a Jackall TN60 Silent Aussy Shrimp and
the other 6 all caught on a Bassman 5/8 oz green/yellow/orange spinnerbait .

Mostly caught in the main basin out from the boatramp in 15 to 20 ft. Nothing much up near the wall but that is where I was when the rain hit .

A word of warning to all 2wd vehicle drivers. If it rains STAY ON THE GRASS because if you don't you end up in the slippery stuff (s**t) . So if you were there I was the one
    In the tinnie
    in the rain
With the blue tarp over my head

I have done a fair bit of fishing in the western rivers from the bank but this is only my 2nd trip to a SEQ impoundment since purchasing my 3m Allycraft tinnie with a 40lb MinnKota on the back.

Definitely better than going to the office.

I'm sure you have all seen pics of 43cm Bass before but I bet you have not seen the old wagon up to the rims in S**t before?
